Do a search in this forum for VVT cams, then make up your own mind. Look at the various shops that highly recommend the LS3 conversions and ask yourself how many VVT cars they tune. I can bet you the answer to will be VERY few, if any. That isn't because VVT is bad, it's because they aren't very familiar with how to properly tune it. They claim it isn't reliable enough to be in a higher HP car but that is being proven wrong every day. It's all in the tuning.
