Okay, thanks, I can see there is some kind of white sealant "gunk" on the threads already, but I will go over it with the white teflon tape you're talking about. I was just thinking that maybe an O-Ring would fit really nice right at the base of the threads????

And as far as tightening it down.....maybe I could actually use the head of a bolt and tighten two opposing nuts on the threads and use that?!?!?!? Just trying to be creative!!! And did you "torque" it to any specific value.....or just "good-n-tight"!?!?!?
