And again do you know how much ET and trap speed you gained from your converter?
I think you are Absofreakincrazy lol. That is what I thought you were meaning and also why I said something to begin with. You are incorrect in your logic. I can't speak for Terry, but id be willing to bet even he thinks his current converter unlocked would out mph mine if I gave him my converter in his car locked. I think it would change the dynamics of his run. He would have the potential to 60ft harder. Terry don't strike me as the type that can't just buy a new converter and sell his current one if he thought it would help him out.

I can't tell you how much I "gained" from my converter on ET or mph Bc I never tracked my car with the stock converter.
My 1st pass at the track with my car was with this converter I have now "unlocked" with a K&N hot air intake, 1 7/8 cheapo headers, DR's and tune. 1st pass EVER was 12.17 with zero tune adjustments.
After we adjusted my tune and swapped to an ADM CAI with scoop, it went 11.90 112.41
We then locked converter high in 4th gear. It went 11.85 113.26

So yes my converter locked vs "my converter" unlocked pulls more mph. But the rest you are saying is skepticism.
