I was looking at the photos again and I am not sure on that gasket. I compared it to mine and think maybe it would be best to replace that gasket if it is that badly torn up and covers that wire section you see in your photo. As for throwing codes, you should not throw any codes after the install. Disconnect the battery for a few hours, (can be done from under the hood). This will help clear the codes and reset things. Try running it again.


As for the other question, I have not had a chance to run it with the new oil separator as I installed it just as I went into storage. I will give some reports after I get it back out and put it on the road.
