A brand new generation that will only be brand new for one year. Five years from now there may be a couple hundred fifth gen Z28s. There will be tens of thousands of these Mustang GTs running around, thousands with the exact same color and options combination. #1 of X00 of a vehicle that's already twice as expensive is much more meaningful than #1 of XX,000.
Scarcity is king in luxury auctions. Just look at the older Ferraris. You think if there were 80,000 1958 250GTs running around that one would have just sold for $8,800,000?
