Started reading this thread earlier. Damn I didn't think we were taking so much heat.

We have a "Fluffy" cam according to an opinionated member.
We are only on one forum, but we do great work.
Our Night Fury Cam Doesn't run
We don't have any records.
I can't tune VVT.

Geez guys.....really. Is this what's it's coming to. I'm not sure If I should even answer anything in this thread.

Onto the ops original question. Are LS3 conversions worth it? The answer to that is up to you and what exactly you are looking for out of the car. Every performance modification made to the car should go towards the end goal.

LS3 conversions have worked out well for us and a lot of other shops all over the country. VVT Cams are working out pretty well too as more and more knowledge is gained about them. That doesn't mean that one shop is better than the other at tuning them. No one ever actually knows what a tuner actually knows. The best tuners in the country are not always on forums. Same goes for those that are on forums. I know we have a lot of satisfied customers and at the end of the day that is what I am most concerned about.

I do see a VVT cam on top of the Fast List on one forum, but that doesn't mean there's not a faster car out there. It's does mean though that the VVT cams can run pretty damn good. It would be crazy to deny that.

About the NF Cam, it has proven it can make power. It runs good in our street cars in full weight form. As for dyno numbers of others cars not at our shop. I can say we have had plenty of dyno numbers back up this cam. The cam makes 470-485rwhp depending on combination of headers and Cold air. On any that have dynoed lower then it can usually be pointed to the dyno operators knowledge of tuning. I wrote a nice long post all about on this forum.

After reading the thread I value everyone's opinions and I believe you are entitled to them.

I can say this...As a company our number one priority is customer satisfaction. I believe we have excellent products and choices for anyone that chooses to do business with us. We have named camshafts and we have custom specs camshafts and can put together Any combination You May be looking for.
We also have no ill will towards any other competitor out there. If more shops would network together then everyone would gain from it, especially the consumers!!!
