But even so, 'z/28' is an iconic designation from the roots of the Camaro's racing lineage. 'C7' is not an iconic designation from the Corvette's beginnings in racing. I see the difference and I don't care if you don't.
I don't like it and I'm not required to. I'd say the same thing if there was a ZL-1.R. I don't like the classic designation getting a zippedy-do-dah "dot something" stuck on the end. Should have called it a z/28 DZ. And yeah, I know the DZ was a 302 but it was also stamped on other z/28 parts.
That's my opinion, like it or not. If you don't like it, maybe you need to 'calm down' a little bit.
