OEM means Original Equipment Manufacture...as in factory available and installed...not AFTERMARKET, which a trip to the Parts Dep't makes them, if they were NOT factory-installed regardless of sourcing...

I beg to differ wrt your definition of OEM. If I damage a wheel and purchase a new one (made at, or sourced by GM factory) from a Dealer's parts dept, it is still considered OEM notwithstanding a factory won't install it but a dealer will.
But I see your point: at this stage Z/28 wheels are not offered as an option on a ZL1. Hence my suggestion to simply purchase ones available right in a brochure. They promise the same weight savings as the ones on Z/28.
