So I just installed an RX catch can that I bought from another member on here. It looked to be in good shape and it came with nice steel braided lines. I took my time and installed it correctly. Once the car was running I noticed an air sucking/leaking sound. So I quickly snapped the original U tube back in place and turned the car on, no sound. I then reinstalled the catch can braided lines, making sure everything was sealed and all the fittings were tight. Still get the air sucking/leaking sound. When I make a fist with each hand around each braided line, the air leaking sound becomes more quiet. It's almost as if the braided lines themselves are sucking in air? My catch can drain valve is closed!!

Is this normal, or do I have bad lines? I am thinking the lines might be junk. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
