Wow. Just wow.

Searching around, buying a new ZL1 under sticker isn't tough. Why? Because they have them and THEY AREN'T IN DEMAND. Not like they were out of the gate. Right now, the Z/28 is the hot ticket, and also the 16's are coming. People don't want to bit just yet. Thus...ZL1's sit. And sit. Anyone who's paying MSRP or over now for a new ZL1 isn't very business savvy IMO.

On the flip side, if they're "giving away" new ZL1s, you can surely bet they aren't looking to buy yours unless they get a big discount too. It's how basic economics works. Supply and demand. Right now, supply is king. Buyer's market.

This is why, in my sole opinion (which could be wrong) that GM is conveniently placing a hold on 1LE and ZL1 orders. Not JUST about the tires. Manipulating a bit of supply. Otherwise, they'd still be accepting orders, you just wouldn't see it in production until the weather got a bit better.
