Not at all. This is what the media does. It amplifies all the bad because that's all people want to see. "Teen comes to complete stop at 4-way stop" or "Local girl drives the speed limit while sober" are not headlines. No one wants to hear about kids not acting like idiots.
In reality the idiots who treat their dad's muscle car like a toy are in the minority. Sadly, since that's all we see about in the news it looks like a bigger problem than it really is. Yes, there are stupid kids that should not be allowed behind the wheel of a Prius, let alone a 400HP Camaro but there are far more who can handle the responsibility. To pass a summary judgment on all kids because of the mistakes of a few is short-sighted and, no offense, stupid.
