Unless your just breaking it every time you run as i remember you posting that it blew up when you got it back from your tuner, which just seems like poor attention to detail on someones behalf. I am willing to bet with the right tires etc...my silly little vert could pull a 10.9 pass on the right day, or at least thats what i have been told my a couple of the shop's that have had it...

I never said my car cannot run in the 10's, I said it has not run in the 10's....yet. There are many reasons. First I have not had a track open, had a set of drag radials on rims, and had an operational engine all at the same time, ever....since I have owned the car. As soon as I get one problem worked out something else comes up. I had to wait months for ERL to build my current block and have not made a quarter mile pass on it because all the local tracks are closed. On the last engine block, while I was waiting on Weld to build my 17 " rims, I learned it is very difficult to modulate wheel spin on stock tires with 800 whp. I did get the car in the mid 11's with my road racing tires but didn't figure it was worth posting. Lastly, and now that all of the other stuff seems to be coming together, not sure if I have the skill to put it all together with a manual transmission because despite what everyone else says, I think it is kind of difficult to launch the car and blow through 3 shifts on the manual in less than 11 seconds. Especially when it just wants to fry the tires.... As a matter of fact I have scanned the entire fast list and as near as I can tell the fastest time any fully manual car has posted is 10.281 in cat 6, which is very impressive considering that other than a shot of nitrous, that car is NA on stock displacement. If you look at cat 7 there are a lot of slower heavy hitters comparable to my car. Many have blowers and nitrous, still in mid 10's when rowing the manual. Just my personal observation. I suspect all the serious drag racers buy a car with an auto trans and leave the manuals for hacks like me.

Well, when you post your time slip you list your mods and the fast list moderator confirms the class you are requesting a place in. In this case everything was disclosed and the car in question is posted in cat 10. The top spot. People can debate it if they want but the moderator looked at the data and posted it.
