I just bought the K&N kit off Amazon Overstock Auto for $629.99. I opened the box and everything appears to be top notch. Heat shield and intake tube is Carbon Fiber. Mass air meter housing/filter adapter for 6"(I think) is plastic. This is my first mod and weather is crappy here in the Midwest so it'll be awhile before I get to test mine out.
