It's pretty unusual for the customer to talk to the technician. Your usually talking to a service adviser who's nothing more than a salesman. 90% of them are idiots and can't even change their own oil. Just because he didn't understand your problem doesn't mean the tech working on it doesn't. And as long as its a dealership, we ALL have access to gmdealerworld which has lots of great information on it. Including step by step diagnostic process that will hold your hand through it, even if you only have basic electrical experience.
