Well 3 weeks later and GM will not let me take this to the dealer of my choice.

Was told in week one that the Pontiac service manager could request the Regional Service Manager approve the job. Then in week 2 the regional MGR said no BUT if the local Chevy dealer (not the selling dealer) would approve, the Pontiac dealer could work on it as a "SUB LET" .

The Chevy dealer who screwed me too many times said no in week 3 .

After 3 weeks of calls to Oshawa they now suggest I have it towed to next Chevy dealer 60 miles away.

This is taking all the fun out of new ownership. Did not have these problems with Honda.

Fritz....you said the NEW focus was on customers. All I keep hearing is " policy says".

No where in the presale (9 months) , purchase , or delivery did anyone say this was policy. Selling dealer knew why I was buying 4 hours from home. They did not know and I have for over 20 years taken my Chevys to Pontiac for warranty.

It is not printed in the warranty book...reads the same as my Silverado
