the 3rd gen is what got me hooked on Camaro's, I've always loved the looks of that car so damn much since i was a kid, but never really knew enough about cars, or what it was, (or cared for that matter), until I saw Transformers & thought "come on Bumble Bee VS a mustang?...is that really a competition?..(but of course me wanting to be a cop 1 of these days i'll have to admit that saleen cop version of the mustang was Awesome.)

I started doing research about this "Camaro" that Bumble Bee had changed into from the previous VW Beetle we all grew to know & love. I of course started researching previous gen's, thanks to wikipedia for the "low down" on camaro's.
and fell in love with the late 4th gen, the 5th gen took a while for me to fall in love with, as i had researched photo's & specs of the late 4th gen so in depth like.

I think when I really truly fell in love with the 5th gen was when I started visiting this site & seeing the true meanings of the camaro, and what this 5th gen meant to people. it's truly fascinating. I personally cant wait to see it hit the streets & knock the socks off of these punks with their v6 standard mustangs that think they're all that because they can "beat a ricer" (by a small margin).

IMO its good in a way to have this camaro be so late in the game, because people who didn't want to wait got the substandard Mustang. and people who can't have anything else because it's never let them down - are waiting for the true muscle car - the 5th gen camaro.
