QFT. I don't think many people do their research before buying a new car no matter how much it is and then they come on here and post like they actually know something about the car they didn't even purchase. I looked at about 4-5 different cars seriously when i was considering buying one. If people had any idea what the GT500 has to offer for $50k they wouldn't be posting half the stuff that is posted on here.
All Camaro SS owners, take your car to a Ford dealer that has a 2010 GT500 and say you are thinking about trading it in a GT500. See if you can get a test drive out of it, that's all, and then tell me how your Camaro feels overall vs. the GT500. There is no comparison, not even on the same level, not even close to the same level. Period. Drive one and I guarantee there wouldn't be posts like this lasting 10 pages with over 4500 views. Even when Camaro people bring in the Hennessey Camaro that costs over $70k and runs what 11.9? I will have my gt500 in the 10's consistently and it will probably cost me about $60k tops if that. Hell, I think my STOCK gt500 will run damn near 11.9 once I get her to the track. Remember the GT500 has the potential to be a reliable 10 second car. Hennessey didn't even change anything out on the drivetrain. You are foolish to think that will last a long time. $50k for the car $10k in mods and I will be able to outrun what? A NIssan GT-R, ZR1 vet? Oh yeah, this is going to be fun.
Should let these posts die.
