I bought my ZL1 from a dealer located more 100 miles from where I live.

Obviously I wasn't going back there for service so I started interviewing local dealerships to see who might be able to best service my car.

I went a couple Chevy dealers, a Cadiallic dealer. When it was all said and done, I ended up taking it to a GMC/Buick dealer I've used for more than 10 yrs to service my other cars.

So far so good. They've not had to do any major engine tear down, but they did replace the brake pads with low dust Hawk pads. They also replaced the master brake reservoir because it was weeping and the side panel of the floor console because the clip wouldn't stay put towards the back end.

Whenever I drive the car into the service center, they make me feel like a rock star. I get so many oohs and aahs from the service team over my car. It looks terribly out of place among the GMCs and Buicks waiting there for service.

You shouldn't have any issues taking your ZL1 to a certified GM service center you're comfortable with.
