I would imagine most of your time will be spent at the camp, but there is the Ingram Dam, lots of people go swimming there... haven't ben there in a long time but it used to be a great place for dam sliding... The spillway is covered with slippery moss... and you can slide down it... sitting or standing if you're moderately talented...

There is a play house just down the road from Camp Rio Vista.. they have plays in there periodically...

There are some things to do in Kerrville... Louise Hays Park often has events going on... One of the bigger things that I enjoyed was paddeling a canoe for miles down the Guadalupe River...Run upstream in truck and start.... have a truck at the point you intend to stop... and have at it... Keep an eye on the Capital City Camaro threads... they make runs up to Bandera and surrounding areas periodically as well... That would be a great chance to meet up... or make a Friday night trip down to San Antonio and meet up with the San Antonio Camaro Group...
Definitely wanting to check out San Antonio and Austin if possible
