I wasn't going to replace the OEM touchscreen radio but I don't know if it would fit with this Scoche unit? (I noticed that every single one of you replaced your radios either before or after this kit).
My reason for keeping the radio is because of the mylink/onstar/HUD; I understand that the HUD will not work without the OEM radio; but I still want to replace my HVAC component without changing the OEM unit.
Too bad, the shop I go to for all my audio uses kenwood; too bad they could be doing us a favor by offering Camaro aftermarket.

The HUD works fine without the factory radio. You only lose the song title scrolling to it from the radio. Everything else works just fine.
