First thing I think about is my grandpa's old 2000 Turbo Passat.
that thing was awesome, while having very intricate gadgets & gismo's in it,
I was only about..13 at the time..so to me - it was very fast
In retrospect, the Taurus I drive could have probably beat it
The only time I think of the VW bug is when I think of old school bumble bee.
