I'm all for voicing opinions, speculation, guessing, etc., so long as somebody is not trying to masquerade an opinion as fact. But some who post here have gone through their life to date spitting "I think . . . I believe . . . " at people, and have always found a willing tool to vacuum up their words. It comes as a shock to some that pesky things, such as "facts" are often necessary to carry on a useful conversation. This is especially true when you are advising someone on engineering and other technical matters.
