1. You act like it was raining for the entire lap. It wasn't.

2. Even though it was raining for part of the last straightaway, and there may have been some water on the road in the last few turns, that was still the best time Chevy got on the track. (doesn't really mean mean much for the argument in either direction).

3. Those tires help cornering speed on any car.
