Even with the cam, the worst enemy is the front of the car. No real way to get used to it without simply getting used to the car. Chicago gives me plenty of practice and I can generally do it now without looking at the cam but it's a timing game. You can try adjusting the mirror down on the sidewalk side, then use your other mirror and the rear to glide it in. As for the front, practice at an empty parking space with double spaces. Use the line as your "end" and practice parking forward front. You naturally get an instinct of when the car has gone too far forward.
That or you can go balls to the wall and practice parallel parking right as you're parallel parking. Be wary of curb rash and you know, hitting the other cars.
