At what point does the 392 gain enough ground to even come close to passing the camaro. A highway pull is normally 50 to 120-140 at the most. Even if the 392 still had higher top speed, by the time it gets there the camaro has won.

From a dig his Camaro would surely destroy the 392, but this race was run from a roll where the Ops combination may not be ideal. Years ago when I was running my stalled C4 347ci Stang it was an absolute dog from a roll and got beat by much slower cars, yet it was capable of 11:20s at the strip on motor.
