The shoes you posted look good. I'm a big fan of cap toe dress shoes, they go great with a suit, or slacks with a polo or button down.

If you're looking at getting three suits, I'd suggest a navy blue, a grey, and a black with pinstripes (not white pinstripes). Those three are all good for interviews, formal events, everyday business, etc. Plain black is alright, but can look like you're going to a funeral, so I usually prefer very subtle pinstripes in a black suit.

Also, make sure the shoe color matches your belt and matches the strap of your watch, if it's a leather watch. As someone else said, clothes are more fitting these days, so you'll find a lot of "slim fit" suits available. Depending on your physical build, that may be an option for you to reduce the number of alterations you'll need and for a sleek fit.

You'll also want to stock up on button down shirts. Again, slim fits are available and fit much better if you have the frame for it. White is always a go-to color, but it's good to have a variety. Light grey, yellow, blue, etc....all good choices if they match the suit. And of course there are ties. I've seen expensive ties, but for $15-$20, you can pretty much get any pattern/color tie you could imagine, just make sure it's made of silk.

For an interview, I'd suggest a navy blue suit, black shoes/belt, white shirt, and a red or yellow patterned tie.

Here's a good article about suits: http://www.bestylish.org/blog/index....or-a-navy-suit

The guy under "Choose a tie in a bold color" is wearing a good interview suit, although his is pinstriped. I'd go with a flat navy over pinstripes to an interview.
