Am I wrong? I'm not being argumentative, you know I've got nothing but love & respect for you & Corey.

coming from you, I don't take this as argumentative at all.., I respect your opinion a lot... So... In response...
If we could pick and choose a block, that might be ok... But, cast sleeves are not anywhere near as strong as ductile iron sleeves that are machined to a design wall thickness... A bit or core shift or sone sand moving around that isn't supposed to and there you go...
If we could get a truck load delivery of blocks and subject them to testing to determine wall thickness, straightness of align bore, etc... Then we would maybe go that route... To me it's not really a weight issue... If it was I would trim my fat ass down.. I'm just more comfortable with my goals going with a Darton sleeve cylinder rather than a cast sleeve... I know what the experts say... But I've read a few horror stories as well... Which I as much as anyone know anything can and will happen... This damn black cloud that follows me around...
I'm happy with the service ERL has provided to date and I'm loyal to good vendors... I'll stick with them for now... Now if they come back with a 30K price tag... Well, that's a different story... But that won't happen...
Here's one for you... When Corey was talking to Seth, Seth asked for a time spot of something in one of my mile videos... Apparently they have them and have viewed all of them and have seen lots of this thread... I was blown away... So there appears to be a vested interest... And with this new motor, I will not let them down...
That being the case, I wish they would come on as a sponsoring vendor here at Camaro5.. There are lots of their motors here and more all the time...
