It's not easy to tune a car to be fast. It takes hours of tweaks and adjustments but once you get it it's very rewarding. I have an amazing zr1, CTS-V, and 1 series M coupe. They're very fast and waste the f50s and xbows that people only drive for their low skill level to drive. I recommend the f50 for starters but once you start winnin a lot in it get out of it because they're very frownd upon. And definitely get used to all assists off as soon as you possibly can. You'll shave seconds off your time. Tune your cars to not spin tires or lock up so much. You can also feel what your cars doing in your triggers.
Don't give up you'll learn and you'll get way more into the game when you do
