That was a major concern of mine when I did this. However, after doing it there was a small amount of dye left over. I diluted some all purpose cleaner and it came right off and left the dye perfect. Went over the leather with some additional cleaner and conditioner and no complaints! Have gotten a lot of compliments on it already from people in my car!

Thank you for realizing that it's not just slather and wipe. I think a lot of people don't look at the pictures very closely.
