There are many GREAT painters out there who won't charge an arm and leg. The big cost is prep and finish not so much the materials.

Thankfully, you see it as I do. Its a simple job and the material is not earth shattering if you shop it. I would say anyone that could spray it and do at least as good as Jaguar OEM paint (acknowledged pretty much everywhere as a good factory paint job), you will have a fine paint job that is road worthy and good enough for 90% of us mere mortals to go out and have fun with.

Now if you are going with fades, ribbon stripes, ghost images you are talking a different ball of wax.

But I still maintain you buy the complete kit plus thinners combined with a stack of 40-50 Ben Franklins, there are guys out there that will jump at the chance to do this very basic job in the world of custom paint and keep their shop busy. Just try to avoid "insurance bodyshops", they are not the level of quality you want
