Corvette's history is just as bad:

1st gen 9 years
2nd gen 4 years
3rd gen 14 years
4th gen 12 years
5th gen 7 years
6th gen 8 years.


no real consistency in the length of time between the generations, but overall GM has a history of averaging about 9 years between generation changes
Agreed, and I think people are jumping to conclusions a bit that the 6th gen is right around the corner, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being 2017 or 18. They just did a mid generation facelift, they're not going to replace that right away.
