Josh, here are the instructions on how to remove the door trim panel and how to remove the light pipe. I'm not sure you will need to remove the light pipe, the LED plugs into the end of the light pipe and is available in two colors for that year, red/orange and blue. Good Luck.

Remove the radio front side door upper speaker grille. Refer to

Front Side Door Inside Handle Bolt Finish Cap
Procedure
Use a small flat bladed tool at the front edge of the cover to aid in removal.

Front Side Door Trim Fastener (Qty: 4)
Caution: Refer to
Fastener Caution.
Tighten
2 Y (18 lb in)

Front Side Door Pull Cup Fastener
Procedure
Remove the front side pull cup liner to access the fastener.
Tighten
2 Y (18 lb in)

Front Side Door Trim Panel
Procedure- Use a door trim tool or equivalent to aid in the removal of the door trim.
- Disconnect the inside handle release cable from the trim panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Transfer parts as required.
