early at Outback on Merchants. I better post the itinerary again so I don't forget
April 26, 2014, MCM will be cruising to the Lowes in Newport to help support The Cruisers for Cancer effort to raise money for cancer. There are four places to join in on the fun!
1. There will be a group leaving the Outback Steak house on Merchants Rd at 9:30 and they will travel to the Lowes on Chapman Hwy.
2. Another group will leave the Target in Alcoa at 9:30 and travel to the Lowes on Chapman.
3. These two groups will leave Lowes at 10:15 and travel down Boyds Creek Rd to Douglas Dam.
4. All groups will leave the Overlook at Douglas Dam at 11:30 and go around Douglas Lake, through beautiful Dandridge. We will cross the lake on HWY 92 and wind through the curves to the Lowes in Newport. We will stay at the cruise in at Lowes for about 2 hours and then cruise HWY 321 through the apple orchids near Cosby and through the beautiful valley of Jones Cove where we will end at Walters State in Sevierville.
The cruise will end about 3:30 or 4:00.
For those that would like to, we may take a bonus cruise to Gatlinburg through the arts and crafts area. We all have been touched by cancer in one way or another. A donation will be accepted at Lowes.
