The reason I brought up the ZR-1 is specific.
IMO, that is the car that started the Second Horsepower War. It was faster than any version of the Corvette made prior to that, even the big blocks.
The second horsepower war is not over. This has a lot to do with why digital cars are not normally collectible. The first horsepower war had an end, ~1971. After that cars got slower every year. So enthusiasts pined for the "old days", and started wanting those cars.
