Don't forget that most of those package show crank HP numbers, not wheel hp. There are plenty of user built cars running 750-800 crank HO with no issues. Now, if we are talking 750-800 HP at the wheels, it's a totally different story.

That said, I would spend my money at a reputable local tuner over having Hennessey build the car. Sure, they build badass cars, but you are paying a premium with the name Hennessey stamped on it. If that's what you want, great, but you can spend less and have the same build going local.
