I have the Solo high flow cats and they are great. No tune or cel's. I have the Range AFM delete device that plugs into the OBDII port and does not void warranty. It eliminates any transitional noise or hesitation between the 4 to 8 mode. No tune required. Less than $200 and it can be pulled out anytime. I notice about 1 mile per gallon less with it in on long drives. As for the cats, they can quickly be removed for the stock cats for warranty or emission issues.
