I've wanted an original 427ci Camaro w/manual since I was a kid. Never could afford one. When the rumors started >2 years ago about GM putting a 427 in the Camaro, I started hunting.
In the real world, only about 1000 427 Camaros were made. Many were never "numbers matching" since the engine was installed at the dealer after they removed the 396 it came with. So there are literally thousands out there that claim to be original 427's.
They cost twice as much as a base Camaro back then. So the $75k price today is not really out of line.
