Gotta Disagree with you on this. You must have not spent much "seat time" in a Turbo Buick because my "T" was nothing like you describe.

The 86-87 Turbo Buicks are legendary. I bought a Turbo Buick new in Jan. of '87. These cars were the quickest American production cars built at the time after a 10 year nightmare of Nothing performance wise. I took my Stock Turbo-T to the street fights in Bristol and cleaned house with Vettes, Camaros and Mustangs.

Also smoked a "number" of "muscle cars".
The Turbo cars handled excellent with the Factory stiffer suspension, larger sway bars, poly bushings, gas shocks and quick ratio steering. A '81 Z28 tried to lose me in the mountains of East TN. Didn't happen, was exactly the opposite.
I sold it last year after owning it 25 years.
