Correct. Every Dyno test I have seen would point to our CAI making more power. Often what is "felt" is not exactly accurate, especially when its comparing 2 products that may be within 1-5 hp of each other, I mean you literally talking about a difference that is equal to about 1% percent of overall power output, which is why we use calibrated and controlled test conditions to back up power gains. Other items such as the fuel trims needing to adjust, sound difference from product to product, environmental conditions, etc, etc, could all be a factor as well that lead to what the user feels or does not feel. When your talking about "feeling" a 1% overall shift in power, its probably going to be based on influential factors and "mind over matter" as opposed to actual power output. This is exactly why we dyno test our products.

That being said, more often than not our customers say they "feel" a difference from adding our product, and many of them report the same thing when switching from a competitors product to ours. Going from stock to a CAI you can usually tell a big difference, going from 1 CAI to another, the difference is often found in the data logging and dyno #'s as opposed to what can be felt from the drivers seat.

The stock tubing has a plastic breather piece that we supply a 6" rubber hose to connect to, it may be possible that your breather tubing was already changed out. Otherwise you would have had a plastic piece that would require a piece of rubber hosing to connect it to the port on the CAI tube, which is why we supply that piece and the heat shrink to attach it to.
