Steakmaker
In 1998 I had an accident on the NYS thruway. A 1500lb pregnant black angus cow came out of the culvert ran into the road @ mile marker 246.5,eastbound. The cow took out my steering, only having a lap seatbelt with no chest/shoulder restraint,my face hit the steering wheel and knocked me out.I went off the road through the culvert,up in the air and into a farmers field I was told by the troopers investigating the accident.Three fire departments were at the rescue and it took 1.5hr to find and extract me from the wreck.I was air lifted to Upstate Medical,I was there for three days.Anyway after 9mo.I recovered and went back to work,My fellow drivers then gave me the handle of "Steakmaker".I still drove doubles on the thruway, after that, well there's another story, but I'll save you the boredom.I did retire in 2005,with almost 32yrs in the "BIG BROWN"
