As a detailer heres how I would handle it. First off, always avoid chemical cleaners unless it really necessary. Many folks go right to them, and they actually set some stains, and further many are very hard to rinse, which means the carpet may be sticky when its dry.

Carpet. This method works amazingly well if you dont have or have access to a hot water extractor:

Pop is sticky, duh. Take a fair amount of water in a plastic bowl, heat it in the microwave until it is nearly boiling. Then transfer to something you can pour out of. Take a shop vac and your hot water and pour the hot water onto the carpet to the point of puddling it while also chasing it with the shop vac. Do not be afraid to completely soak the carpet as chasing it with the shop vac will not allow it to penetrate much under the carpet liner. The hotness of the water will break down the sticky pop and turn it back to liquid, and given the newness of the stain it should all vacuum out without a problem. When dry the carpet should be nice and soft like normal and there wont be any chemical smells left from cleaners. "If" the syrup leaves a faint stain I recommend Aerospace 303 carpet cleaner. This stuff is really amazing. Apply the same method as the water, just not as much. Saturate the the stain, DO NOT SCRUB, let it wick for about 5 minutes then suck it out with the shop vac. Then flush it with the hot water chasing that with the shop vac to rinse.
(***for other members, that method works well with candy or gum in carpet, as well as dirt staining. Lots of things are water soluble)

Leather:
The leather in the Camaros( and all new cars) are coated with a urethane clear coat. Further, the sides of the seats are vinyl. Even thout the surfaces of the seat are real leather, when you clean your not really following the methods of real leather as the clearcoat will not allow traditional leather cleaners to absorb(** I know of only 3 brands of the leather cleaners/conditioners that actually address coated leather and the molecules of their products are tiny enough to absorb past the clearcoat down into the leather, and thats Zaino, Leather Masters, and LLT solutions) . Given your seats are brand new, the only thing at this point I would use on it, is hot DISTILLED water dampened cloth. It will all wipe completely off. I say distilled water because tap water has minerals, fluoride and chlorine added to it. When you put tap water on a plastic interior surface or leather, it can dry with a whitish like haze. Distilled water is 100% completely pure, it will dry with no residues or spotting. Use the same method on the plastic panels. Your car is brand new, theres absolutely no sense to use a cleaner for something hot water will clean.

Good Luck with it.
