$40K is NOT super expensive. It's par for the course these days if you want something really nice. My work car, a 2013 Cruze RS, was $21k. It's a nice car, but it just doesn't have the allure of the Camaro. You want expensive? Price a new, decked out Suburban ($75-80k

You have a lot to learn. Camaros are made in Canada. No car is worth $40k? That argument is subjective.
