The way the warranty works is that the dealer has to prove that your modification was the direct cause of the failure. Meaning they can't void something in your suspension for an air intake because the items are not related.

Around here, we have some pretty mod friendly dealers and you can do just about anything but tuning and still be fine. We even have some cars with aftermarket superchargers and had things go wrong and still be covered. Where they usually draw the line is in the event of a catastrophic failure, that is when they will check to see if the tune has been altered and that pretty much throws the warranty out the window.

For the most part you can get away with doing intake and exhaust mods and even the VMAX TB in most cases as it appears stock.

But as the saying goes; you have to pay to play..
