A lot of people have a hard time estimating volume and distance.

Unless it smelled like coolant, it wasn't a gallon. Ever see dew on grass in the AM?

It is normal, especially when humidity changes, to get water condensed in the exhaust. This happened after a rain storm.

My car with the big tube headers will cough up about a pint from each pipe as SOP, when started up in the morning. Water condensing in the exhaust overnight as the temp drops.
