I also remember being on the other side of the power spectrum. I would rev at much nicer cars in my younger days as well. The difference is, I had respect for what they were driving and I just wanted to see them open it up for my enjoyment. I loved racing various vehicles knowing I was going to lose, simply because it was fun anyway. I think there are still quite a few out there that are after the same thing. They may not all want to race you, some just want to hear an awesome car take off.
