1LE difference

Well the biggest difference in the 1LE package I would say is that the steering is pretty much effortless. I used to get ALOT more tire squeal at the same cornering speeds on my SS setup. What basically that is telling me is that the 1LE suspension is planting the tire much more squarely on the pavement resulting in a better contact patch.

I can let you guys know more after this weekend. I autocross this car and I have a competition this weekend. I also am trying out my new tire and wheel setup with 315 35 20 and 285 35 20 tires. The wheels are the ZL1/1LE style with 20 x 10 fronts and 20 x 11's rear. I was getting WAY too much understeer with the SS setup but I found one of my problems with that is I had broken the sway bar link for the rear sway bar. This I found out is a COMMON problem and GM fixed it by using the later year model lower control arms because the mounting point for the link is relocated to put less bind on it.

I had thought of course of using a square 285 35 20 setup which would help some with under steer. I decided to use 315 35 20's instead on the rear though because of the looks and the fact I occasionally straight line the car.
