After a couple days with it, here are a few random observations:
1) The convertible top is noticeably better than my 2011 (insert 5th bow joke here). Its perfect taut and smooth, just like it should be.
2) I love the hill start assist and had never driven a car with that before. Very convenient!
3) I didn't think I would like the microsuede seat inserts, but I was wrong. Its a bit more comfortable than the leather on my back. It also adds a touch of class to the dashboard.
4) With the low front clearance, I will start backing into parking spaces where possible.
5) I had forgotten how much I missed a manual transmission. This one is fairly stiff, but easy to get used to.
6) I got a steady 18.5 mpg on the long highway drive back from the dealership, but it quickly slipped down to around 16 around town.
7) I got stuck in a VERY intense rainstorm coming back from the dealer, but not a drop of water got inside.
8) The black wheels take some time to clean because of the numerous spokes and ridge behind them, but they look amazing when you are done!
9) Turning the ignition makes me smile 100% of the time.
