ZFat's First 100 Miles
Plycar enclosed transport for the win, thanks folks!
My observations somewhat differ from others I've read so far and I'm sure it's due to previous experiences. My point of reference is Porsche GT cars- GT3RS, GT2RS, GT3RS 4.0, etc.
Here are my first 100 miles comments on the Z/28 with that in mind.
* Wow!
* It's sublime
* Feels perfectly light
* Interior is fine- The reporter who wrote it had a "sub Korean interior" has his head up his ass.
* It's sophisticated in many ways I was not expecting.
* Tasty torque!
* As you would expect- a perfectly composed suspension. More comfortable around town than the Porsche GT cars
* Personally, I'd daily drive the hell out of it, I'm fine with a solidly sprung, well-dampened ride
* I had no problem with tramlining, hunting or any other challenging road behaviors. I'd take my hands off the wheel and it would track in a straight line.
I can't think of anything negative to say?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the steering feel. It's great and the wheel feels good in your hands. The shifter and shift action is very good. The car feels like it's milled from a block of billet, rock solid.
Great car, can't wait to get the break-in miles on it and get it on track this weekend. Worth every penny of $75k and it's destined to be a coveted addition to any car enthusiast's garage.
Well fricken' done Chevy. Thank you!
