AMMUSCLE has a full-on pro-style setup. That is awesome!
For the beginner, I would suggest:
1. List your upgrades and mods. A nice cardboard display help people to understand what they are looking at.
2. Show as much of your mods as possible. This is why you see mirrors under cars. If people can actually see what you have done, it helps.
3. Never underestimate the power of presentation. I see the same guy all the time at shows with an old VW bug. He has a surf board on the top rack. He brings a beach chair, blanket, beach ball, and even an inflatable palm tree. It gets him noticed by the spectators and gets him theme points with the judges.
