I stopped messing with my car and am planning on trading up in a year or so. It's not necessarily more cost efficient to keep spending money on mods opposed to trading up. In the long run trading up will cost more over time, but all your mods are paid for up front. Not sure about you guys but I don't have an extra 6k to drop on forced induction. Let's say your car is worth more than you owe, you'll get money towards your down payment for when you trade up. I did the math and with a little bit longer of a finance term, I'll be able to get an SS for about the same price as my monthly payment now with an extra 2 years of payments. Unless you truly like V6's over the V8, why not trade up? You can spend thousands on the V6 and an SS will still win.More power and if you're like me and love that exhaust tone, the answer is obvious ha.
